Welcome to Irish Crafts Directory Shipping and Tracking Information Shipping Your order of in-stock merchandise will be processed and shipped within 2 business days of receipt. If you have provided us with an email address, you will be notified of the shipment of your order via email. Out of Stock and Back-Ordered Items If we are out of stock or expecting a back-order on an item that you've ordered, you will receive an email notification with an expected ship date. If the wait for the item is too long for you, you may cancel the order. Otherwise, you will be notified as soon as your items are ready to ship. The e-Shop automatically creates our own tracking Reference Number, which will be used for all internal uses. The E-shop also creates automatic invoices to the Customer and advises us immediately of any orders. Goods will be shipped within 2 business days of receipt, if in stock or are with the Supplier. Upon shipment a DHL or Irish Post Tracking Number will be emailed to you, together with the web page where you can track the shipping progress Goods which are Special Orders or Unique Items which require immediate manufacture will be shipped as soon as they are complete. Please allow up to 28 days for this manufacture. However you can use our tracking reference number when contacting us for an update. These orders cannot be cancelled once manufacture has begun. Some very large items like Sculptures, or certain large glass items require special shipping quotations, packing and insurance. All of these items will have shipping charges quoted following receipt of the order. If within 7 days of receiving this information you wish to cancel the order you may do so. However once you have processed the extra shipping charge through PayPal, the Order will be committed and forwarded to you. Some Items while unique in their detailed design, can be ordered in multiples. In these cases the images will convey the general design and colouring, but not the actual detail, and some colouring may vary slightly. Some Knitwear, such as Scarves, have lengths provided. Some of these may vary slightly from that quoted, as the original natural material can vary depending on dyes, hand processed manufacture, etc. DHL Shipping Company: We have chosen DHL as they are one of the 3 major shipping agents in the World, and cover virtually every corner of the World. WE will continually endeavour to work with DHL in keeping shipping charges as low as possible. However in the current state of fuel costs, shipping charges will vary throughout the year. Charges on our web site are up to date at all times. An Phost (Irish Postal Service) We will use post as the normal method for deliver of items that are small and convenient, unless you pick DHL. The Post will generally be more cost effective. We can also use the post for international shipping. Other Methods of Transport From time to time we may use other carriers for shipping, or if specifically requested. However this may cause delays in the actual shipping process. Ship To Regions The regions covered by DHL are: Ireland (B2B) United Kingdom (UK) EU Western EU Eastern Rest of the World US Standard Asia Africa, South America, Ocean Islands The regions covered by An Phost are: Ireland Post Priority US & Canada Post (Standard) Calculating Cost Shipping costs for orders depend upon the method and option you choose. If you choose to group items into as few shipments as possible, you'll be charged for one regular per-shipment fee, as well as a per-item fee for each item in that shipment. Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound. Very 'light' items have a 'volume weight' applied. Returns and Exchanges We stand behind the quality of our products. If for any reason you are not satisfied, or receive a product that is defective, we will accept the return of unused merchandise for refund within 30 days when accompanied by your original receipt. On custom orders, we are unable to offer refunds, but we will gladly replace any defective pieces for up to one year from date of purchase. Shipping charges are not refundable. A 10% restocking fee will be charged for returns over $100. If you made your purchase with a PayPal/credit card, the refund will appear as a credit on the same card you used to make the purchase. When filling in the Cart Shipping Information Page, it should be noted that Shipping First Name, Shipping Address, etc refers to the shipping, or ship-to address of where you want your parcel to be sent. Some countries and (Credit) Card suppliers require the Shipping Address and the Billing Address to be the same - so it is important to note this. Billing Address When filling in the Cart Billing Information Page, it should be noted that the Billing Name, Address, etc., are those that appear on your Paypal/Credit Card, or Payment Card. If there is a difference entered here, you will find that the transaction is likely to be rejected by the Payment system
